| Practice statement: Over some three decades, Richard Rogers Partnership has attracted critical acclaim and won dozens of international awards. We are an international architectural practice with offices in three countries, currently working on an office tower for the World Trade Centre site in New York, a European airport – Heathrow Terminal 5 – as well as three towers within the City of London, a significant refurbishment of the Javits Conference Centre in New York, and major masterplans in London, Lisbon, Granada, Rome and Seoul, Korea. Central to the philosophy of the practice is a commitment to the creation of public spaces that enliven and rejuvenate inner-city areas. This commitment permeates all RRP buildings, both public and private. An innovative and sustainable approach to the urban environment has attracted praise from the leaders of many of the world’s most dynamic cities. | |
