Description:
A two storey rear extension to a private Client's house in the area of jurisdiction of the Bournville Village trust. Needing to achieve the Approval of the BVT as well as the Local Planning Authority, the result was a sympathetically designed domestic extension involving much rationalisation of the existing internal spaces and creation of split level accommodation to overcome and exploit the natural ground levels. This particular Client continues to recommend my services to other prospective Clients; I have now completed works for their colleagues, acquaintances and next door neighbour. In late 2004 I was invited to return to design a loft conversion for them; this has now been granted Approval by BVT and is pending Building Regulations before commencing later this year. As a result of this and the neighbouring work I am on the list of BVT recommended Architects.
